a day at the beach

This is a model friend from Canada, by the name of Gordon, whom I’ve been drawing for several years. Shortly after one of his photo shots, he sent me a proof and instantly I knew I had to draw this. Within two days the photographer send me a high resolution, unedited of these two wrestling on the beach! WOW….

This 8.5×11 graphite pencil took two weeks to complete. Drawing in the evenings for a few hours, after work each night.
